Re: Requested passport back - Was told to get a family permi

All I can suggest is not go if you don't have COA. Practically you need same documents as FM and if you have COA, family permit is fast tracked.

Re: Travelling while applying for PR

I am actually glad someone just proved what I always suspected and commented above. They cannot possibly stop you from entering the country but boy border control knows how to make you rip all your hair apart from your head. This is deliberately done in order to test the genuineness of your status a...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

All, If you are interested a new FOI request has been answered. https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/eea4_processing_time_2 This sort of explains why we had a massive queue for Feb 2015. Seems to me after Biometrics were introduced, the average monthly EEA4/EEA(PR) applications dropped significant...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Hi @ Annebee Wat is your timeline again? you had you for ROR granted last year haven't you? If yes then your ROR should still be valid for a long time, so what you can do is to ask your passport back and keep travelling and living your life normally and when HO process your PR they will send it to ...

Re: Enter UK WITHOUT Family Permit

mmalinconia, how was your travel? I successfully got back to the UK through Eurostar from Paris. I was traveling with my wife, showed passport, marriage certificate and COA. (Though, I don't have family permit). Whole thing took about 5-10 minutes. Hi Fokus, are you a visa national? Are you from Eu...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

This forum is like a free counselling service. We would probably go crazy considering the ludicrous time HO is taking to provide an immigration status that we all know we have already obtained. Yesterday ONS published the data and I wonder if anyone of you noted that there is 30% rejection rate for ...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

So now it take almost 8 mother :( thats well annoying. better apply for BC after 6 years instead wasting year for Pr tho. If you can prove it and if you are prepared for the wait. Yes you can. It takes on an average around 8 months without PR (since they will have to see your documentary proof and ...

liquidweb you need to stop confusing people by giving them wrong advice, you should read Article 1 of British Nationality Act, this should make everything clear for you. Re: child born from EEA mother and RC holder father

Boloney, you are a senior member. And I am just worried that some of your comments on this post clearly shows lack of knowledge on BC front. Now if your child is born in the UK, and if one of the child's parent at the time of birth was permanent residence, then you REGISTER your child as a BC. YOU D...
