Hi,

Is there any change for English Language requirement for PBS dependants.
I couldn't find this in any guidance but had read in few articles about a new requirement of English language for dependants applying for residence after 2.5 years in UK.

Please can anyone clarify this?

Also note that my ICT BRP card was valid until 27-Oct-2016.
Is that could be the reason they retained it?As my Tier 2 General work start date is from 1st March 2016.

There is no start date mentioned on BRP Card.

Only Place and date of issue as UK and 21-12-2015, the day I got decision mail.

I had applied for 2 year visa with cos start date 1st march 2016 and had paid IHS for 2 years period only.
The BRP card is valid until 14-03-2018.
