Just a quick update from my side. My wife's appeal was successful and the decision was overturned on last Monday 9-Nov-2015. We are awaiting to hear from the BHC for further update on submitting the passport.

I have received the letter of pending appeal, which was issued on Oct 12, 2015. The documents have been posted to Chennai BHC. No more updates.
