Re: Skilled Worker Visa Job Switch- What does Update Visa Mean?

Thanks for your response but what does update visa means? Should I again have to apply for Skilled Worker Visa for 5 years starting from 2023 - 2028 or update the visa details with new employer details/new CoS and the current 5 years will remain valid on the updated visa i.e until 2026? PBS Dependant + Skilled Worker Visa - Eligible for ILR?

Hi, I came to UK in 2019 on PBS Dependant visa as my wife got 3 years of Tier 2 visa. In 2021, I got sponsorship from my employer of a 5 year Skilled Worker Visa until 2026 and I became primary applicant while my wife became dependant. My question is since my date of entry in UK is June 2019 so, can...

Skilled Worker Visa Job Switch- What does Update Visa Mean?

Hi, I am on a Skilled worker visa sponsored by my employer from 2021 until 2026 in the UK. But my company is seeing a downturn and has started layoffs globally(or perhaps has used an excuse because big Tech giants are laying off globally too). Anyways, I am now looking for another job with a sponsor...

Re: UK Tier 2 ICT - Cooling Off Period

Thanks CR001,

That's helpful. What do you mean by right to reside? If I stay in Ireland on work permit for 1 year, will I be treated as visitor and will I not have the right to reside? Please clarify.

Regards

Hi, I know that there has been recent changes to the cooling off period but that only helps the people who are on ICT Short Term Visa. I am on Long Term Visa and in order to switch my visa to T2 General, I still need to serve the cooling off period of 12 months. My question is - Can I serve the cool...
