Re: Visitor Visa for Surinder Singh?

According to the settlement centre Be careful with that call centre. You are not talking to the Home Office but to a external contracted centre and they have been known to mislead people. Yes, great point, that is also the reason why I have created this topic. I cant get any good information on it ...

Re: Type C visa for German RC

Hi. My application is only going in next week. The people were really helpful and friendly though. They said it should take a month if all the paperwork is in order. It helped a lot that we had my sister in-law with us who speaks German. It really isn't as complicated as some people make it out to ...

Where did you get married?
Did you present your marriage certificate when making the visa?[/quote]

Got married in South Africa. We used an unabridged marriage certificate from the High court for the visa. The normal certificate that gets issued on the wedding day is not sufficient.

Re: Type C visa for German RC

The embassy gave me 5 weeks. As that was when my return ticket is for. They don't issue 90 day visas for Germany anymore and they only issue a visa for what your flights say. I know I didn't have to show them flights as I am an EU spouse but because I had them I submitted the information to avoid an...

Re: Italian schengen visa for none eu spouse. Help

Hi

I had to provide an unabridged marriage certificate that was apostiled by the foreign affairs office in South Africa where i stay. Normal marriage certificates are not always enough as these can often be tampered with.

I used that for a schengen visa for Germany.

The UK should let us be with our families before they even consider taking on migrants.
