So how about the gaps in residence. I heard even if you have 5 years stamp visa but you were out of the state for holiday for 4/6 weeks, this should be subtract from your five years and this the they count total re-knockable residency?

How true is this?

Thanks very much Broli.So its the 6 month letter issue date and 5 years letter issue date that I should use?

Thanks very much Uberneo. But I think my case is not similar to that. In here, you will get the stamp on the same date you visit to the office. It is the Department of Justice issue the letter for visa that your visa is given until the end date.

So its kind of Confusing.

Hi All, I am bit of tough situation at the moment. Me and my wife are not living together at the moment. Officially We are married now for 4 years 5/6 months. But after living together 2 years she moved to different address in Ireland but its in same county. My visa will expire middle of April 2017....
