Re: Gov website not asking for documents I'm seeing elsewhere

Good to know, thanks! In terms of visa, its my understanding that while applying I'll fall under a section 2 visa? My estate agent is telling me that they need to check whether it is legal to continue rent to me, what can I produce?

Gov website not asking for documents I'm seeing elsewhere

I completed my online application ILR Set(M). 5 year route. My Visa (spouse/partner leave to remain)runs out on the 6th of April. I am having a bit of a headache post submit and paying for application, in that things asked about in the form did not seem to be compulsory to submit. 1) The online appl...

Re: ILR S(M) visa applied, but not done Life in UK test yet

You should have done the test before you applied online. You don't get a physical test certificate anymore. You are now required to input the reference number if passing in the inline form before submitting. The ILR S(M) form, when filled, asked if I had done the test, I answered no. It still let m...

ILR S(M) visa applied, but not done Life in UK test yet

I've applied and paid for ILR S(M), my date is late next month, I have a Life in the UK test booked just prior to my ILR appointment, having not yet passed it. Will this be a problem (?) even before worrying about passing?

She only needs a letter confirming her employment details for her CURRENT job. From previous job she only needs the payslips.
Ok, so the old payslips don’t require a guarantor?

So this is not her current place of work?
It is not her current place of work. She has everything from her current place, but she has only been there for 4 months. So because under six months she still needs info from previous employer.

As per general rule of thumb it must be an original version. But as per common sense it might be accepted if your landlord is an estate agency sign & stamp it.
Sorry I don't understand what you are saying, do you mean "or" instead of "is"?

Re: Rental Agreement Spouse Visa Extension

Our rental agreement is a printout of a pdf form we electronically docusigned with our landlord and estate agent. Is this printed document ok? As there is no original as it were. It’s hard to see what my question is as this thread got more and more stitched together. But the above quote is my quest...

Re: Am I correct in thinking my non-EU spouses earnings are considered?

Thanks. Also, I have two Chinese marriage certificates, both the same, except we have a copy each. Each is specific to either my wife or I as holders. My question is; Can I just translate one of these? Or will the examiner need both? Just attach whatever you attached in initial spouse visa applicat...

Re: Am I correct in thinking my non-EU spouses earnings are considered?

Also, she had a gap between jobs of about 3 months this year, so she has not been at her current employment for 6 months. She has over 12 months earned over the income threshold however, as evidenced by bank statements and pay slips, will this be sufficient to satisfy the examiners?

My wife is extending her 2.5 year spouse visa. We live together in the UK. She is the main breadwinner with a high salary. We are correct in thinking her salary counts ?
