I think any document that can prove that you can do a job in UK is useful for HSMP application; I don't think will matter if is for a permanent job or not.
I'm not an expert but if I was you I'll send the original document attached to the application.

After Romania and Bulgaria will become part of EU in 2007, how is going to change the immigration status (“No recourse to public founds”) of a Romanian guy that is already subject of immigration control under HSMP.
