Mine is almost the same case, i have an ILr and applying for dependants through post.
Could you please help me in understanding if you sent your original BRP(ILR ed) and passport with the dependants postal application?

Hi CR001, Thanks for you quick response, and especially the heads up for the fee change on 18th March. Yes I have cross verified this with the Child Benefits team and they have confirmed that the claim is under my name and not my wife's.
