Re: Upcoming appointment in Birmigham

I would probably ring them up and let them know just so that it can be corrected and you are not turned away on the date of your appointment should you turn up at the wrong place.

thanks and hope this helps

Re: ILR Questions - Traffic Offence and Qualifying Period

Hi Elf, 1. with regards to your traffic offence you should definitely be fine as the guidance stipulates that they should have been spent 24months prior to application which is way over anyway and just make sure that this is declared or else that will lead to a refusal. 2. Also as regarding your abs...

Re: Expired passport with ILR

Hello,

You do not require a valid passport as you have rightly mentioned, as far as you do have a valid BRP card. I can see that you don't have any travel plans at the moment so you are very much alright.

Thanks and I hope that helps you.

I am fully aware that penalty points have to be declared when applying for any visa category. A friend of mine has a 6 point endorsement ...

Re: ILR Refused Set(O) Window Service

Hello,

I think the best bet is for your friend to re-apply and probably send his application by post. Since he used those self employment earnings, why did he not file a return with the HMRC.

Can i please ask what PEO did your friend attend and did he have to fill in the questionaire.

Thanks

Re: Earning in 12 months - ILR application

Hello mate,

You don't have to be in employment for the entire 12 months. There is no rule that says so. You are very OK to use earnings for even 6 months as long as you meet up with the earnings threshold as it is very evident from your post that you do meet up.

Hope that helps you.

Re: minimum stay requirement for Tier 2 general

hello, Unfortunately you cannot study with your tier 2 visa as this is will be a breach of the visa as this visa is only for the sole purpose of employment, hence this visa will not afford you the flexibility that you are requiring. Also, I assume that you are a non eu student, thus you will have to...

Re: minimum stay requirement for Tier 2 general

Answers to your questions are 1. You cannot use the tier 2 visa as you have indicated as this is a work visa requiring sponsorship and you will need to be in full time employment in the UK and you will need to get an employer who is willing to sponsor you within the requirements, otherwise this will...

Re: More than 180 days absence from UK (sick leave) ILR

Hello SPILR,

Like CR001 said, the 190days will be your problem. When does your visa expiry?

That way maybe you can split some of the absences that constitute 190 days by counting backwards from when your visa expires.

Re: BRP Needed for Domestic flight travel?

Hello,

I am quite sure that you do not need your BRP card for a domestic travel. You should have no problems travelling with your international passport alone or perhaps if you have a UK driving licence, that will also do.

I would probably also advise that you can order your employment history from the HMRC ...

Re: ILR PEO deferred Apps - Further checks/Additional docs c

Hi Edexperts,

I don't think there is any need for you to fret or panic. I think you will be fine and what PEO did you apply at. Also as long as what you have declared to the HMRC tallies with what has always been disclosed to the UKVI, then it should be smooth sailing.

Thanks

Re: regarding ILR

I would say that you should go with all your tax documents as they may request for it. This will also help if the case worker does have any need for a particular document.

If you look thoroughly through the forum, you will see what other successful applicants have taken along with them.

Cheers :D
