Many thanks, that's reassuring. much appreciated. From what I've read on the guidance they use. Building up an unmanageable or excessive debt may be grounds for an issue. Oh i don't have huge debt, it's all way less than 10 grand, i am paying them up though, gradually. I am hoping for the best.

13th of June applicant here, i know they say 6 months processing time, but to see people who applied after are getting decision doesn't make it consistent, why some people get delay i will never know, the wait and rant continues.

Many thanks for your reply, yes i came into the UK in 2009, got RC of EEA national family member in 2010 and the PR in 2016, child was born in 2013.

Yes the child is born in the UK. I have never come across this situation until my own experience. if i understand your point correctly, It appears the only option would be to register/naturalise my son.

I will probably have to go this route.
