As time rolls along more and more of us are going to find out about this change in Home Office guidance/rules. My situation - US citizen, have lived in the UK since 1972, granted ILtR in 1973 (aged 11). Have never had any dramas travelling in and out of UK. Changed jobs in June, happily new employer...
