Re: Quick question regarding staying out of UK on a tier 2 v

No. As long you have taken annual leave and not absconding from work without informing employer, then it should be fine. Thanks @srsw. I just come to a post where it says that it applies only if I apply for ILR. Is that correct. How long can I stay out of UK in a year. I am in Tier 2. I am extendin...

Hi,
I am on a Tier 2 right now.
Currently out of UK on a holiday.
Its been a bit more than 1 month now since I am out of UK.
Will it affect my VISA extension because I am out of UK for more than 30 days?

Kind Regards

Tier 2 General July 2013 to July 2014 – 1 Year Tier 2 General Change of Employment July 2014 to July 2017 – 3 Years More likely you can only get 2 more years of extension making in total of 6 years in T2G. And it depends on you COS start date and end date provided by your company. I would suggest, ...

Can I get Tier 2(General) extension and for how long

Hi,
In July 2013, I got Tier 2(General) Visa.
I left there and went to another employer and got VISA from July 2014 till July 2017.
The COS states as Tier 2 (General - Change of Employment).
1. Can i extend my visa when the visa comes to an end
2. How many years will I get?

Kind Regards

Do you work for a proper company sponsor or an umbrella company as a contractor? Are your payslips perhaps available online and you just don't know or don't print them?? My current company does not provide us with those pay slips. It is a legal requirement for companies to provide payslips etc., even more so if they are a sponsor for Tier 2 General. Thanks @CR001.. I was just going through other posts. Like the one posted on "Sep 05 2013". He says that it...

Regarding payslips

Hi,
Just a quick question. Do we really need to provide payslips while extending Tier 2 (General) Visa or while bringing dependent? Isn't bank statement enough for that?

My current company does not provide us with those pay slips.

Re: Which route is more convenient method to apply for ILR?

Sorry, got confused. You can apply for her PBS Dependent visa. Once you get ILR based on Tier 2 Gen, she can continue to extend her PBS Dep visa within the UK until she meets the 5 year residence requirement and qualifies for ILR. Her initial entry clearance visa will be granted in line with your v...

Then you might be better off waiting to apply for your future spouse once you have ILR and then apply for a spouse of settled person visa and the initial visa will be for 33 months. Thanks again. Sorry if I am annoying you... For ILR, I have to wait till 2019. But can't she extend her VISA? cause I...

Re: Which route is more convenient method to apply for ILR?

1. My Tier 2 Expires in 14 July 2017. What is the best time to renew? I know I still have time. But still want to know in advance.. :) Ideally within 28 days of expiry of current visa. 2. I am getting married in Nov/Dec 2016. Is it okay to start the process for her as soon as we getting married? Or...

Re: Which route is more convenient method to apply for ILR?

If you apply for ILR based on long residence, your spouse on PBS Dependent will have to switch to FLR(M) and start a new 5 route to ILR. Time a PBS Dependent has spent in the UK will be lost for the purpose of the new 5 year residence requirement on FLR(M). Thanks for the info. So to the best optio...

Re: Which route is more convenient method to apply for ILR?

I think the 10 years' one as with 5 years' one your company has to show they still need you plus you need to earn specific amount of money per year to qualify. You don't have to show anything with 10 years' route so it's easier. As long as there is no requirement to apply via 5 years' route I would...
