To my knowledge they do not ask for proof....but i may be wrong.


Atleast i never submitted any proof.

In UK application Claimed 95 points 25 - Degree 35 - Work Experience 25 - Earnings 10 - Spouse Awarded 75 - i dont know where and why cause the approval letter just says you met the criteria and got over 65 points.. The person i spoke to told me that i was awarded 75 points and i never asked any det...

Finally, Applied 13th of July CC Charged 19th of July Urgent treatment form recieved 17th August Approved 23rd Aug 2006 I got the approval over the phone - 0114 2076020....called twice to get it reconfirmed - Awarded 75 points. Thank you all and good luck to those who are to apply/awaiting decision....

This is shocking


Just got through to 0114 2076020 after 3 days of trying

was told that they have recieved my urgent treatment form but CANNOT LOCATE MY FILE


I hope they have not lost it.

i am beginning to worry why my application is taking so long - i sent my urgent treatment form today...

CC got charged on the 19th and case worker not yet assigned. Hopefully the urgent treatment form should help.

I think you can easily ignore that view about 1 crore and all that.... i have many friends working in india....with over 10years experience in the IT industry and none are anywhere near that figure... Anyway thats not the point...the main thing is your letters need to be very detailed ....list stuff...

I think you need to either listen to what others have already suggested or take a risk and see how it goes....


Work Exp points are a lottery anyway - i have read on this forum that even lawyers have not got work exp points in some cases as their job was not considered 'graduate level'

There is a one week back log hence the delay...my application was forwarded from doncaster to Shefield and dleivered on the 19th. Am told that it would get charged in 3-4 days form today.

Any idea how long the work exp letter should be....i have seen a few samples that are 3-4 pages....mine are only 1-1.5 pages.

Also do you think using a solicitor helps....
