perfect thank you, so the only difference is that we have to provide 12 months of payslips (each) rather than 6 months?

Thank you for your response, so am I ok in thinking there is no harm in me changing my job? Im just really confused with the rules and have read different things... the only concern is at the moment I am not meeting the threshold on my own but meet it if my salary and partner's salaries are combined...

Another quick question... does the immigration health surcharge allow the individual to use the NHS just like normal UK Citizens or is there a limit for the services they can use?

great thank you. how far in advance can he apply? We need to know the earliest as he is currently working and he deosnt want to face any issues with his work if any complications occur in the visa application.

Hi Thanks for your reply. He applied for his visa June/July 2013 - valid from date is 6th of August 2013 - he entered the UK on the 13th of September 2013 and yes his visa was for 33 months.
