If you are paid in pounds but located in Ireland I assume there would be no problem in getting EU1, please let us know if different,

I am just thinking for parents to take them back to uk, I would be in Uk for about year and have got a good job offer in Uk, waiting for 5 years will be too late, would it be good idea to apply for uk family's permit in Ireland with stamp 4 and explain the situation ?

It clearly says in INIS website 4 months, has any one contacted Solvit?

I also attached exactly same documents, 7 weeks no response at all,

Time wise they are taking 12 weeks plus,

No idea if EU visa falls under join family visa as per inis processing time

I don't think the applications are dealt with series No, i think they are dealt with category and complexity, we applied end August and our applications are in Dublin waiting for decision,

Solvit is helping us at the moment with the progress of application, shall i wait for the out come? INIS are taking more then 3 weeks to reply, i am wondering by the time they will get to see my email a decision will be in hand, What are your thoughts in this?

All,

Just to update, I have received a response from Gerry's and they will only update 2 time during the process of application i.e. at the time of forwarding the application and at the time of receipt of documents.

I applied for EU Directive Family member, wouldn't that be in other as Family visas are for Irish national, as per inis if sponsor is irish etc ... .
