Re: From 12/11 PR Document Required for Citizenship Applicat

As Ohara states there is no option to ask for it specifically so you tick the option that enables you to get notes on what the case workers have on you (think it's section 2) then on the other section (6 or 5 can't remember exactly ) you further explain the information you are asking for. That's whe...

Haha love the sarcasm. Just noticed the shocking grammar in my previous post. I can assure you they are all typos! :D There are no grammar police here. Many people are posting & wrestling with immigration matters & government officialdom in a language other than their mother tongue - & ...

Re: From 12/11 PR Document Required for Citizenship Applicat

I think once my DCPR comes through I'll do a SAR to see whether the PR acquisition date has been recorded accurately. Awfully complicated but one should be able to obtain this information via a SAR, isn't it? This is exactly what I am planning to do. I'm actually half tempted to call NCS once my DC...

Re: UK EU referendum confirmed for summer 2016

Can Definetly see Scotland looking to leave uk if U.K. Leaves the eu I doubt it. Scotland would be foolish to leave the UK with the current low price of oil and the fact that most of its corporate wealth is in banks such as Lloyds, HBOS and RBS, which would relocate to the rUK in the event of a ref...

More and more I can see a Brexit happening  Will not affect us mate or the people who are in the middle of applying for citizenship. Yeah of course it's lost on me. Or I actually look at your post to what it really is; a negative scare mongering and unhelpful post on an immigration forum.
Oh and no need to put a hyperlink on the Cassandra word, I knew who it was but thanks for the link anyway very informative

Re: UK EU referendum confirmed for summer 2016

U.K. Isn't even in the Schengen Agreement. I have no idea on the relevance of your post. Because the French pm says that the eu will fail doesn't mean that it will Fail. And it certainly doesn't mean that eu citizens will now face tougher actions as you seem to have eluded to. It seems as if you are...

Re: Various questions regarding BC application

If you do not have any p60s covering the relevant five year period you are going for, I would just ring up your ex employee and ask them whether they would be so kind to type a short letter confirming the dates that they employed you to. That should Definetly suffice along with some bank statements ...

Angry doesn't even come close - PR application rejected because I didn't provide 5 years worth of wage slips! Had I had a crystal ball I would have kept everything but 5 years ago I didn't know I would be applying for PR and BC. Re-Apply again - pay again - and no further advice was given on the ph...

Re: Various questions regarding BC application

Thanks for your reply. I'll have to research into this sar that tou mentioned. But on the basis of that information as well as what other people have stated, I may be swayed to apply for the citizenship around April time and not in December 2016 (a year from the date stated on my PR document). I wil...

Re: Various questions regarding BC application

If your PR qualifying period ended in February 2015 then you can apply for citizenship in February 2016 on the same date. Personally I would wait 2 weeks after the exact date just to be doubly sure. :) Any chance you can upload a photo of the PR doc with personal details removed? I want to see what...

I know people on this forum have answered this for others but I am also a bit confused on the whole citizenship requirements. I have received my confirmation of PR a couple of weeks ago. Re: UK EU referendum confirmed for summer 2016

I would like to think that once you gained permanent residency then you would be allowed to stay in this country regardless of the outcome of the eu referendum. I would be shocked otherwise If the UK were to leave the EU, EU law, including Directive 2004/38/EC under whose provisions PR is granted, ...
