Thanks Tryone:) Do you mean that if we already have WP or HMSP we need to re-apply them under the pionts systems? It was on tv today, 9pm. BBC Parliament, just finished, took about one hour, they are describing how they plan to "fix" the immigration problem.... All their comments connected...

Would you please make it clear? What did Lin Homer and Lyam Birne say? Where could I find it? Hello, Listening to Lin Homer (Director General, IND) and Lyam Birne (HO Minister) during their interview with the Parlament Home Affairs Committee, it became clear that we are in for a new shock when they ...

Thanks RobinLondon Agree with you that the Home office is never reliable. In Jananuary 2006 I knew someone wrote in to them to enquiry if the 4 to 5 will be applied retrorespectively and the answer is also ' no plan at the the moment'... Also Clark has been sacked...... Wonder what we could do next ...

a couple of thoughts

I talked to a friend who is a lawyer and he wondered if this 4 to 5 changes could be challenged legally. He suggested that if we could prove that there is such a solid ' promise' perviously it will be very helpful to challege the home office. It should be useful to see what the guidance said in the ...

Thus they could introduce some new system to quality people on their IRL applications. e.g. intoducing pionts systems in the ...

Any further changes??

My most concern is if there will be further changes sometime next year. The govement inceases the qualify period from 4 to 5 years and applies it retrosepectively. When the ' 5 years ' strategy first published in March 2005 I consulted with immigration lawyers and home office the answer is this chan...
