Guys, do you think calling once a week to check on progress of the application will have a negative impact? Will they get annoyed that you cal once a week?

Well, if Home Office can check that you left when your visa was expired, then you have a problem. They could check by looking at stamps in your passport. Seems you left without having valid leave to enter. This means you broke continuous residence. Look on home office web site, for official rules.

Thank you for your advice guys. I have written to Subject Access Bureau, and will keep you informed of my progress. I am also getting all invoices from school, NHS records and bank statements in my struggle to prove 10 years continous residence.:)
