Re: Have been sent questions from HO??

Hi sorry for the late reply and thank you for the information. Surely this could be overturned on appeal. The situation with myself though is we never intened to come to UK only due to unforseen circumstances, and we never applied for spousal visa because we never intended to live in the UK. They su...

Re: Have been sent questions from HO??

You can always state that Surinder Singh route applied to you because you met your spouse while she/he was already living in that EU Member state during which your exercised your Treaty Rights for a year for example. Having moved to a EU Member state with your Non-EU Citizen partner to circumvent U...

Againi am not feigning ignorance nor is my questions related to that. I am simply asking if they would still apply new regulation due to the fact they did not publish it and also to the fact that their own website said otherwise. Moreover, I am asking how they can prove the circumvention of immigra...

Hi, I am a dual citizen of UK and Switzerland, currently a PhD student in the UK with a full scholarship. My wife is a non-EEA citizen. After living with me for over a year in Switzerland, she successfully applied for an EEA Family Permit under the Surinder Singh Route. We came to the UK together i...

Re: missed call from HO

A 'private number' could be anyone. Unless they left a voicemail, how do you know it is HO. If it was HO, I am sure they will call back if they need to speak to you. For your info, mobile phone numbers are recycled in the UK so you likely have one that did previously belong to someone else. You cou...

Re: Passport not returned after 10 working days - EEA2 appli

I am in the same place with family holidays and business trips emerging. The internal process for the Home Office is more than questionable. I would rather they stated that there is a high chance that it would well exceed the '10 working days' they have quoted. I sent my documents away on 10th Marc...

Re: CHANGES TO SS ROUTE AND RC!! CLARIFICATION NEEDED!!

Yes the changes apply to all applications made but not decided by the 25th of November 2016. The British Citizen sponsor is now treated as if they were an EEA National so you must exercise treaty rights as a worker, student, self-sufficient. There are minor differences between the BC and EEA Nation...
