Our local officer is away for few days and i cant wait that long ive got my 5years letter and new passport if i go dublin office and tell them its emergency would they issue me residence card there and then?

Is letter from gp compulsory? We have not registered with gp but my spouse went to hospital emergency once and i have bills would that do the trick or do we have to be registered with gp?

I think family permit takes time and i will be travelling via ferry so i hope i dont come across any immigration officer. Another thing on my letter it says residence card under regulation 7. But it also says on that website that you do not require to have family permit to travel to england but yeah it might simplify your entry :?
