If they connot reach the employer than they check through PPS number, if the PPS number is still registered with the same company and they are getting paid every week than that means that the EU citizen is still employed with that company BUT as in the case of self employed they cannot check if the ...

But if she was still employed so why the employer hadnt confirmed her employment with them then ? you said that she doesnt have the p45 yet so means she is still employed, or the employer has told the immigration that they have stopped trading ?

I also applied in June 2015, my temporary stamp is expiring in January, and like you the decision was pending on 10 December and i havent heard anything back yet. I think it will go until mid January as the temporary stamp is expiring on 11 January

I think if you have some history in the UK or you came illegaly in Ireland than on the basis of that they have rejected you to register because they can actually check the applicants history from the UK because all the data have been shared.

Yes this is true that they are checking certain cases, if they had denied your visa you should have consulted a lawyer straight away.
