Re: Proof of address FLR(m)

Understandable. It would help if the Home Office changed their policy of issuing generic application forms, which only cause confusion. :? You won't need the 6 pieces of co-habitation proof, but you should show that you are now living together (tenancy agreement or mortgage), together with wedding ...

Re: Proof of address FLR(m)

FLR(M) is used for first time and for extensions so it can be confusing. If your partner came on a fiance and now applying for FLR(M), you do not need 2 years cohabitation etc. CR001 has already confirmed this in the above post :| Apologies, our first fiancé visa application was declined on a techn...

Proof of address FLR(m)

My Wife (then fiancé) moved over on 30th August. We married a month ago and I'm just completing the flr(m). I appreciate the flr(m) covers a lot of different types of applicant so I'm assuming that I don't have to provide 6 joint letters as we have only lived together for 3 months? Is this true or d...

The trouble is, she does so I don't know whether I can apply in her married name without first getting her passport / current visa switched. It's silly really!

No, not yet. Someone recommended we didn't until after the visa application.
That's why I'm worried!

Re: Spouse visa for my wife.

She needs to apply for the spouse visa before her current fiance visa expires, meeting all the requirements again that she met for her fiance visa. Apply to Remain in the UK with Family (click) Form FLR(M) (click) Guidance Notes for FLR(M) (click) She will need to also pay the £500 health surcharge...

Spouse visa for my wife.

Hello

I've got a bit of a headache!

What do I do? I married my wife on 21st Oct 2015. She's here on a fiancé visa. What next? What form and what do I do about her name?

I'm sure it's straight forward but I've had some contradicting advice! I feel I know less now than when I started ☹️

Maiden name??

Hello My wife is Japanese and we married on the 21st October. She's still in the UK (on the fiance visa) where we're in the process of applying for the "family of a settled person" Visa but we're not sure whether to apply in her maiden or married name. Obviously her current passport is in ...
