Re: Tax Amendments on Five Years Old Returns anyone did?

SA302 will not update. However that doesnt matter because you will get your updated calculations from HMRC and they are good enough to show to anyone. HMRC will give 30 days to pay the amount owe or there will be interest piling up after that. To be honest some caseworkers wont even check records of...

Re: TAX Returns amendments

HMRC will take atleast 3-4 weeks to upload them on the system and then there is waiting game. Bcz its Christmas so things will be delayed so dont expect anything soon. Thanks Bluecandi for your response. So I should be rest assured that it will be dealt with after that. I was not amused as the agen...

Re: Tax Amendments on Five Years Old Returns anyone did?

I suppose you could just send the changes in, wait a short time then apply. HMRC would have a record you are dealing with them, even if they have not processed. The problem is UKV&I is not interested in knowing whether the applicant is dealing with HMRC or not, the only thing they are intereste...

Re: TAX Returns amendments

Guys who send amendments to HMRC ignore people comments of irrelevant people. Do what you have to do HMRC DONT TAKE INSTRUCTIONS FROM UKBA. No one is saying that, but UKVI will act on information gleaned from HMRC and apply their logic, that's the hole people may find in, innocent or guilty. IGNORED

Re: TAX Returns amendments

Tuntuna, usually new guidelines in the UK are published with a transition period i.e. phasing out the old policies and phasing in the new ones. Those who have already applied for amendments, they would never fall under the new guidelines even if they come in effect in Jan'16, which is very hard to ...

File your return they will check all 5 year history. UKBA and HMRC are in money making mood at the moment. We have paid more money to UKBA and HMRC then what we spent on our education. I wish I could have done a MBA from London business school and become a CEO in Middle east.

Re: ILR query...PLEASE ADVICE.

Go for amendment. Doesnt matter you are employed or self employed at your ILR application. HMRC guidelines states even if its out of year self assessment send them the correction.
