Hi All, I was granted UK HSMP on Mar 2006 and i entered the country in May 2006. Now as per the recent ruling, Can i apply for ILR in 4 years (as was the case earlier)? Go for contracting

Since you have more than 8 years experience, go for contracting where you can get £300 per day or more.. If you have some functional knowledge of financial domain you can get good money in permanent position too. Java/J2ee is very much in demand right now as there is huge scarcity of good resources....

anyone got the new manuals for HSMP extension???
I am applying for extension next month and would benefit a lot by reading the caseworker's manual. I still remember how beneficial it was during my initial HSMP app.

thanks for the responses I cant go to the college as currently i am in UK.. I had contacted the alumni service and they said they can get me the letter from the registrar, I guess i will ask them to put some stuff on change of name.. hope it works out well... I know that IELTS is the easiet option. ...

It is in your best interest to get the documents back safely as soon as possible :) They anyways copy all the documents and so with your review request you do not have to send any again.
