Re: Sponsor Accomodation

The accomodation near your job and you already got tenancy agreement for that preferably be used. Ask the landlord/agency to supply you a letter to allow your wife to live there and if you sharing it with others then need an inspection report otherwise not. And also make sure that tenancy agreement ...

Re: Sponsoring Spouse as Taxi Driver

Working as a care worker for an agency/company as a worker is a better option for spouse visa purpose than a self employed taxi driver. For self employment especially as a taxi driver you will have to show a large of documents in comparison with care worker option where you just need 6 months paysli...

Re: FLR(M) Financial Requirement Calculation Help!!

Your understanding is correct regarding category B where a non-salaried person (variable wages) is working for an employer for less than 6 months. But you & your partner are working for same employer for the last 6 months then why not opt category A instead B. Otherwise category B for which you ...

Re: Employment Letter

Caseworker don't care about the per hour rate and pattern of hours although it must be written in employment letter. All they care about whether the applicant meets the financial threshold. Based on your wages which seems like varying each month then more likely you falls under category A non-salari...

Re: Help!!! Late salary deposit in to bank acc

Usually the payslips date differs from the date of actual credit of wages into bank statements because usually the payslips are made before the pay day. So it must be understandable to caseworker. Regarding your November wages which was missed in November but actually paid in December then I think y...

Re: Spouse visa advice needed

Since the official guideline regarding financial threshold highlights 6 months payslips instead just 6 payslips then I guess the caseworker may want the completion of 6 months even you can get the 6th month payslip early.

Re: Change of jobs just before applying spouse visa

You can still qualify and probably fall under category B. If your new job will give you the fixed wages or variable wages in both cases you must have earned £18600 during the last 12 months. Secondly in case of fixed wages it need to be above the required threshold and need to be confirmed by employ...

Re: Questions regarding spouse visa financial requirements

Your understanding is totally correct regarding category B non-salaried person. If you have savings and your previous earned £18600 during last 12 months and during most recent 6 months your variable/non-salaried income meet the threshold then you can qualify. But you have to immediately find job wi...

Re: Questions regarding spouse visa financial requirements

Out of your £40000 savings 1st £16000 will be ignored then £24000/2.5= £9600 you can combine to clear the deficit to reach £18600. So you would need to be earning £18600-£9600= £ 9000 as wages.

Re: Delaying rent of property until visa granted

Unless you have a family member/relative no one will unlikely give you tenancy agreement/accomodation letter allowing your partner without rent in UK. In my opinion it maybe a good idea either to negotiate with current landlord in your present shared house. Or try to find some relative/friend who ha...
