Re: travel using resident permit card?

How do you join the British/EU queue? Is it only if travelling with spouse or even alone? Don't they object?

Re: FLR(M) refused because of payment and issued with IS96

How did you get permission to marry by registrar with no legal status in UK? And why did you not apply straight away after marriage rather than waiting 6-7 months more?

Re: travel using resident permit card?

Pakistan obviously yes as you are a citizen but for Spain you will need a Schengen visa.

Whether or not you need to pay for that Schengen visa as spouse of a British/EU national was my question above?

Re: FLR(M) Premium Appointment - who should attend

Though from my experience last week I could have done just fine without my spouse being there. We only saw the case registration guy and never once saw or spoke to an actual caseworker which makes me believe it doesn't matter as long as you carry the passport and forms are signed. I guess an issue i...

Re: travel using resident permit card?

So just to understand what you said above. I am on FLR(M) and need Schengen for EU travel. If I am planning a trip with my wife (BC) to France or Italy for e.g. then I still have to apply same way but fees are waived? Condition is we travel together? BTW on FLR(M) am I allowed to travel out of UK fr...

Re: Married to BC, problems, kids

Jeezuss!! This is one for those day time Jeremy Kyle shows. The stereotypes are strong in this one: multiple partners, unknown paternal identity, family desertion, police arrests, bad driving etc. etc. haha! As someone who has had to play by the rules and go through the tough hurdles of UK visas I f...

FLR(M) success in Croydon PSC - Experience, Documents + tips

Hi everyone, Thanks to the wealth of knowledge on these forums and the advice from the lovely moderators I successfully got my spouse leave to remain approved at Croydon PEO/PSC yesterday. So here is my experience, document list and tips for others if it might help you as well. I switched from Tier ...

Got my visa at Croydon yesterday! It was unbelievably smooth as butter! So happy and thanks for your help :)

Will write an experience post later with details of what I submitted and observations.

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

"Are either you or your sponsor currently married to or in a civil partnership with another person?"

It doesn't specify if other than us each other! It will be yes as we are married to each other but no if they mean apart from each other haha!

What to mark?

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

Hi CR001. Last Thu I have been offered a permanent job starting March subject to me obtaining my own right to work as they don't sponsor. Should I include this offer letter in my application if it helps in any way?

If so, then where do I add this? Thanks

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

So in July this year I will complete my 10 legal years in UK so can switch from spouse to ILR as until now spouse does not reset ILR clock on 10 year long residence SET(LR) route.

Wondering if they have plans to keep you stuck on spouse and not let you switch to ILR even if you complete 10 years? :?

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

Hi guys, I'm filling in my form today for my premium application on 17th and wanted to ask you whether there have been any changes to the rules/form etc. over the past month that I should be aware of? And are there any major proposed changes from April onwards for spouse visa and 10 year residence r...

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

N) As previously advised in one of your many posts, you would have been better off applying to switch BEFORE you resigned. Fine to say you are unemployed but they might scrutinise your application a lot due to you being on a work sponsored visa. There are no 'catch' questions. HO likely already kno...

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

I can only apologise again...I only posted in other thread as no one answered my thread for days. Felt I was being overlooked.

I take your points and I hope you will post those answers back for me. Like I said, I appreciate your personal time spared and never took it for granted. :)

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

But that exact same question related to the form was asked on that thread as it was related to the form too (and as long a OP as mine which you said is too long). So it makes complete sense for me to ask it there no? Or would you rather have duplicate threads for similar questions? Thought best I as...

Re: Filling FLR(M) form - your advise needed as stuck in par

OK. I'm sorry. Just that I saw that some others have posted form questions (as long if not longer) in one place so thought in one place is best rather than you answer one and then I ask another and so on..? I even colour coded the text to make it easy compared to many unstructured posts where you ne...

FLR(M) application form queries

Regarding this Question 6.8 - Are these addresses those at which we have lived at TOGETHER in the past 2 years? I'm really confused by this as well. Me and my future wife will only start officially living together at my flat AFTER our marriage i.e. the next day. Currently she lives in her own place ...

Re: original bank statement for spouse visa

Or you get them to sign and stamp the statements or give a letter confirming statements are original.

But if you order on phone or online and they come via post then they are usually originals.

Re: plz guide visa ending in a week.

They overlook a period of up to 28 days overstaying after your visa expires so you can apply until visa end date + 28 days but if refused in those 28 days then you lose any right of appeal!

Casa, CR001 and others, sorry to bump but please could you help me with the above form questions?

I want to finalise the form by tomorrow. I suspect most of these should be standard yes/no for experienced guys like you :)
