Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Pro

All, I have a question re my NCS/JCAP application sent on 15/10. As I applied on basis of 3 year residency (married to a Brit) my entire qualifying period and related absences were covered on my current (2nd) passport issued in Aug 2012. The NCS lady only took copies of this passport and didn't touc...

Re: NCS experience

For the fee they charge I think I am just going to apply for another passport I can then use this whilst the HO process my application. Eh? Can you just randomly apply for 'extra' passports? What about your BRP card then? Also a new passport would mean your existing one would become cancelled/inval...

Re: NCS experience

In my case at Hammersmith council the lady was pretty good and relaxed as Saturday appointment so I was the only one and no waiting. She only kept my original employer letters and Life in UK pass letter (said HO want original for this) but copied and returned everything else e.g. P60s, marriage cert...

Re: Glasgow ILR set(LR) further check

Alexhui, this just sounds like complete BS and so unfair just because UK don't do exit stamps.

Can you not get your bank statements for that period showing you used ATM or transactions on UK soil?

Re: ILR Granted refund of NHS Surcharge

Guys, I have an update. I just got a response back from that PSC Refunds email address telling me that my full £500 IHS refund has been processed and money should be back on my card inside 28 days!! As per the above they shouldn't since I switched to ILR nearly 8 months after my spouse visa (which ...

Re: Glasgow ILR set(LR) further check

My passport only had UK entry stamps and then entry and exit stamps from other countries. UK doesn't do exit stamps but they should be able to calculate from other country stamps.

I also attached an excel sheet showing all dates, which country visited and total days out of UK over 10 years.

Form AN: Section 3.2 Criminal Convictions

Hi all, I had a Speed Awareness Course few years ago (no points or fine) and I'm confused about section 3.2 as it asks for: Note: We will carry out criminal record checks on all applicants. You must give details of all criminal convictions. This includes road traffic offences (including all drink dr...

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

KT you don't need to provide all your previous visas etc. copies to UKVI! This is not a requirement and they are the issuing authority so they obviously have all this information on your records. I had many visas too but got my ILR just yesterday without providing details or copies of my previous vi...

Re: Should I apply for ILR now or in Sep 2018?

The other thing is, there is always some notice before very drastic rule changes.. It is a tough choice but if I were you, I might just continue on Tier 2 while keeping a close eye on any rule changes (assuming you have no intention of changing your employer and are happy with the current job).. An...

Re: Should I apply for ILR now or in Sep 2018?

Tough choice! I'd say ILR'ise one of you so you are 'safe' and nothing to fear ahead given how things are changing. If your relationship is strong and subsisting then it doesn't really matter in the long run if you lose 1-2 years in grand scheme of things. :) Though I don't see any rules changing fo...

Re: No entry stamps upon return from Ireland?

Update for benefit of others: I successfully got my ILR today at PEO Croydon and this wasn't an issue at all. I didn't bring this to attention and simply gave my passports and an excel calculations sheet showing all my travel dates over past 10 years. No questions were asked so this mustn't have be...
