Re: ILR decision delays

In such cases shouldn't they refund your £500 premium "same day" fee since that is why you pay it? Worth asking at least.

Re: PSC Appointments..!!

Hello all, I have some queries about PSC appointments. 1. Can you change your PSC appointment with location once you booked online? 2.Is it common to get earlier appointment? The online system in showing appointments after 6 weeks. 3. Any parking recommendations near Croydon? Thank you all for any ...

Re: Continuous Period calculation

Only dates physically outside the UK are counted so the date left and arrived (stamping) are excluded as you were on UK soil.

And yeah I could take bank statements showing activity here in UK on those dates. Plus I realised even if they added extra outside UK periods I still am under the 540 day limit haha

Re: No entry stamps upon return from Ireland?

legalkhan, I'm not talking about Northern Ireland (capital Belfast) which is part of UK so no stamps either side. I'm talking about Republic of Ireland (capital Dublin) which is an independent country and does check and stamp passports upon entry. Issue is UK doesn't stamp when you return from ROI a...

Re: No entry stamps upon return from Ireland?

Why do you have to prove you came back? Why not list it as "came back from Ireland on <date> via <airport/port>" if they have doubts they will ask? (to clarify I am really asking if this is the way to do it) Well we have to show that we were back in the country and the only way is immigra...

ILR doesn't require so you don't declare.

Naturalisation does but one-off's are ignored I believe so you declare to be prudent on your side.

Re: No entry stamps upon return from Ireland?

@cyborg001 I believe just booking won't be enough but you have to prove that journey was completed means you have an exit in U.K each time. I am not sure if you can get these information off the airlines but they must have in their record if actually the person has travelled or not. I think before ...

No entry stamps upon return from Ireland?

Hi all, I'm applying for SET(LR) soon and have a question/dilemma. I travelled to Republic of Ireland 3 times and when you reenter UK there is no immigration control i.e. no stamp on passport. But they do stamp upon entry to ROI so only one way control. Now how do I prove I came back into UK in time...

Eh? UKVI agents check at entry and airlines check at exit. Add 2+2 together.

Re: IHS refund possibility after ILR

This is exactly what I have been wondering as well. I got my FLR(M) in Feb this year and paid £500 IHS. Now I am applying for my ILR next month and assuming I am granted I would have paid IHS for 2+ years when ILR is exempt from IHS. Barring 3 months I have been employed FT since 2010 meaning I pay ...

Re: ILR success with traffic offence

Would a speed awareness course (no points or court etc.) also need to be declared in ILR or naturalisation applications and would it affect the outcome?

Also, can a speeding fine abroad (rental in Spain) affect at all?
