I haven't got anything back. Asked my local MP for help they are chasing it up, they are going to ring next Tuesday.
But yes they have faced us about we've cancelled our trip to New york for Christmas thanks to them

It says on my acknowledgement letter that you'll be notified if it's going to take longer than 8 weeks and I haven't =.

They can't tell me anything apart from it's processing, this is the first time he's applying. But they haven't asked us for anything else and it hasn't been declined.
I'm so confused I don't know what to do.

Brenna when did you apply? My partner applied on the 17th August asked for additional information on the 25th which was posted in 26th that along with biometrics. I sent my additional information for IHS on 26th August and no reply since.
My partners is taking forever, they haven't asked for anything else.
I'm ringing tomorrow to speak to them if it's still processing.
English government are ridiculous

Nope I called this morning and they said no decision has been made.

My partner is from New Zealand also, he applied on the 17th August and nothing since. He did his bio metrics on the 26th August, no updates or anything. Called and they've sent nothing out not even made a decision yet.

Well basically my partner is from New Zealand so he didn't need a IHS reference number, pretty stupid they asked for it. I sent them a letter of the email saying he was exempt. Even when I rung UKVI they said he didn't have to pay. STUPID PEOPLE. Seems to mean UKBA can't even do their job correct, ...

Don't even mention letters I wrote them two and they said I've never sent them one. I applied for mine in the UK and was stated within the 8 week limit for it to be done. Help line is useless I am a UK citizen and debatin whether to move abroad. This country is so slowand unhelpful!! I'm Australian...

Just received a letter today (7 weeks since applying) requesting additional documents, they state in the letter that the new expected decision date is on the 25th of January 2016, another whole 8 weeks!
