Without the 2 years co-habitation I don't have a solution. Much will depend on what happens during the interview with the Home Office. Others may be able to advise on your right to appeal if they issue a notice of removal. Apart from paying for good legal advice, money won't get you out of the situ...

No. You will give notice to marry with the Registrar and they will then notify the Home Office. The Home Office will then contact you if they want to interview you and there is a high chance that they will do so as it will be obvious from the information provided by the Registrar that you no longer...

Under the rules for marriage involving foreign nationals, the Registrar is legally bound to notify the Home Office of your intention to marry.
