Hm... How about the fact that, as part of the citizenship process, EU nationals provide a document certifying PR acquired on the base of exercising treaty rights, which is EU law?

Re: Form AN, section 1.3

Thanks. I've requested the info from HO and received copies of files about my immigration history, where it says: Entitlement of PR status: 01/01/2012 - is this same as the actual date of obtaining PR status? (When applying for a PR card we sumbitted proof of exercising treaty rights from 2006 onwar...

Form AN, section 1.3

Hi all,

When you fill in form AN, which date do you write in section 1.3 if you are an eea national? I.e. the date on the registration certificate or the date when a pr status has been obtained?

Thanks

Re: PR card plus 1 year treaty rights

Ok, so you think I should ignore it and only provide the PR card, without proving any periods at all? As long as they have it recorded on their system, we should be fine, but wondering how often they actually look at it, or just refer to the documents in the application pack...

PR card plus 1 year treaty rights

Hi all, I know this has been discussed here already, but I just called UKVI and the answer I received was very confusing. Basically, what they said was that if you’ve been exercising Treaty Rights for 6+ years, once you’ve got your document, certifying permanent residence, you can apply for Naturali...

Naturalisation for EEA - PR + 1y. or 6 years treary rights

Hi all, Since November 2015 the new guidelines have been a bit misleading and everytime I call to ask, I get different answers. Anyone has been throught it already? Our situation is: EEA (Bulgarians) living in the UK for 11 years, last 8-9 years under treary rights (before that HSMP visas). Currentl...

Hello all, We're just about to apply for a document certifying permanent residence (EEA) and I'm a bit confused. Both me and my husband are EEA nationals and have been exercising Treaty Rights since 2007 and can prove it by evidence of employment. We've decided that my husband would be the main appl...
