Hi divine, i think the cis came into effect by ukba in 2011, for eu nationals students. Is yr partner still a student now? Divine25 - what kind of documents did you send to the HO? i am waiting for my PR. I am applied through my mother as a sponsor. she already has PR and has been working since 2007 full time. i was a student during that time but we never lived together. My partner acquired PR automatically because he has been working in the UK since 2008 July and our baby was born 25/02/2014 so can we apply for British Passport for him using the dad Id and other necessary document and pls how long does it take because I read somewhere that it takes up to 6months is...

The CSI thing is insane and not publicised nearly enough. For people who come to the UK purely for further education (regardless of whether they have the intention of staying or returning home afterwards) it is understandable and I'm sure their home country will somehow give them information about ...

Maybe the cis is ruled out from PR application if the eea nationals is working and studying same time.. Coz while working, "Tax and NI" is paid. Wld be nice if you call HO themselves regarding this or do more Reading into such. Although, your application is already with them. Coz i rememb...
