Re: Renewal + First Passport for New born outside UK

Applying online from the Netherlands, I was informed I would have had to send a copy of the passport of any non-UK passport holder who was confirming identity. So using a British citizen simplifies things. Did you have you send your original passport in support of renewal application of your son? I...

Re: Renewal + First Passport for New born outside UK

Yeah, I think application process and required documents are little different when applying from Pakistan. Thats why I am seeking guidance on this forum.

@HCJNL, Did you get someone living in Netherlands to countersign the application?

I am looking for a second opinion on my understanding of the required list of documents and eligible countersignatory person in my case. I am a British citizen (via Naturalisation) and my wife is also British (via Naturalisation). We have a 4 years old daughter who was born in the UK. She got her first British passport in the UK which is expiring in September this year. We are currently living in Pakistan since January 2020. There is...

No idea.

Both referees must be of good character.
I found another person for referee but that person got speeding pointed in this year too :( Any source of rules I can use to confirm what implies a good character for a referee?

This link is from gov.im not gov.uk. Not sure if this can be used as reliable information for UK immigration.
It is the correct list.
Okay, thanks both.

Any issue with using 2nd referee who got speeding points in 2017?

While filling the form, there is requirement for one referee to have professional standing. Is director of a limited company eligible to be a referee with professional standing? where can I find the full list of eligible professions?

Re: Parent ILR BRP for Child Passport Renewal

Children born abroad will be automatically British by descent and can apply for a passport directly. Note that they cannot pass their British citizenship onto their children if their children are born outside the UK. Right. Moving to UK to work and live during pregnancy period is another option so ...

Might be worth obtaining your SAR from HO and keeping it safe as this will detail your grant of ILR too.

If she does not work, then you simply state in the form she is unemployed.

Employment is NOT a mandatory requirement for citizenship.
Okay.

Do we have to again attach cohabitation proof for last 2 years like we did with the ILR application of my wife?
