Visa4UK Application Travel history whilst living in UK

Hi all, I'm currently completing my online application for a Tier 2 General visa. I've been living in the UK for the last two years on a Tier 5 YMS, and since being here have travelled a bit in Europe. When completing the application in Visa4UK, I'm asked to enter details for my 5 most recent visits...

Re: RLMT run dates

It is an issue that can be overcome moving from Tier 5 YMS to Tier 2 but it is not without difficulties. The tighter rules in regards RLMT have made it easier to refuse a Tier 2 visa in country or out of country. There is a general shift in the ECO perception on RLMT and any previous employment und...

Re: RLMT run dates

2. You are already employed..... Kinda says the RLMT is a nonsense then...... You are obviously a pre selected candidate and by definition the RLMT has not been conducted in a fair and open manner. Good luck going forward I hear the words sponsor licence revocation...... They need to apply for a Re...

RLMT run dates

Hi all, My employer is currently undertaking the RLMT in order to apply for a Restricted CoS for my new Tier 2 General Visa. We want everything completed ahead of March 5th so we can be considered for the March 11th release of CoS'. The ads all went up 1st February, so this should allow the 28 days ...

Visa4UK Permanent Residential Address

Hello, I'll be applying for a Tier 2 (General) visa in May from Australia. I'm currently living and working in the UK on a Tier 5 (YMS). I'm planning to only be back in Australia for a couple of days before my biometrics appointment/submitting my application. On the visa application itself in Visa4U...

Re: Applying for Tier 2 (General) whilst on Tier 5 (YMS)

Thanks.

Also, does anyone happen to know if I need to apply for the position they advertise for as part of the RLMT? Do they need to compare and prove my application to this or do I not need to do anything whilst they undertake it?

Thanks!

Re: Applying for Tier 2 (General) whilst on Tier 5 (YMS)

hi wanderer, thanks for that. do you think it would potentially affect an application for settlement in the future if one of my visa's is cut short? So the YMS is 2 years, then the Tier 2 General is 3 years, total 5 - however if my YMS is cut short by a few months do you think this will be an issue?...

Hi everyone, I'm coming towards the end date of my Tier 5 Youth Mobility Scheme visa, and have been offered sponsorship by my current employer. So will be applying for a Tier 2 (General) visa from Australia/home, as I cannot do so from within the UK. My current Tier 5 visa expires May 11th 2016. Doe...
