Re: List of documents for tier 2 ILR

Nothing else is required, ILR by Tier 2 General route is usually a breeze so no need to get stressed. Even P60 is only optional, but submit it if you have.

Also I suppose your HR letter confirms that you are required for the job?

Re: List of documents for tier 2 ILR

Also, according to section 12A/Note 4 of the SET(O) form, the evidence of your finances i.e. payslips and bank statements should cover at least the last 3 months. Hi can someone clarify this rule? Accordingly to my understanding, Tier 2 applicants going for SET (O) need to provide latest bank state...

Re: Can I get an ILR

Hello everyone, here's my situation below I have heard about ILR being granted to people who have been in this country for more than 14 years via a combination of legal and illegal stay. Below are my details: 1. I first came to UK in September 2002 via a student Visa. 2. I applied for extension in ...

Lol, I didn't realise the gap was of 3 years  I suppose the OP will need to do the SAR to find if and when his visa was curtailed.

Re: Employer Letter

A line saying you are required for the job is mandatory in employer letter. The employer can say you are required for the role in any way without having to mention foreseeable future. For eg my employer wrote something on the line of 'XX will continue to work with us if granted Indefinite Leave to R...

Re: Tier 2 (General) to ILR

I had a similar case of gap in employment of around 5 months while in valid Tier 2 general visa. I applied for ILR last month and got it without any issues. I believe you should not have any issues as well.

Re: Online payslips only - ILR next month - Company acquired

I think getting seal from company B will be fine. Just make sure that you explain in the cover letter that your previous company has been acquired by your current company. Even better ask a letter from your current company confirming the acquisition of your old company.

Re: Tier 2 to ILR appointment advice required

Thank you for your quick reply. There is no clear answer for this whether this is a glitch on Hmrc side or employer did not pay tax. I have asked the employer to sort this out but he just keep delaying. Can I sort this out with Hmrc myself? I'm sure the experts will advise further but my personal o...

Congrats JoeLawerence2. I have to apply for my ILR under tier 2 category. Hmrc cannot find my employment history for the year from 2011 to 2012. 1. I was employed under tier 2 category with the company ‘X’ from 2011 to 2012 2. I have wage slips for the year from 2011 to 2012 but no p60. The wages w...

Re: Tier 2 ILR – Employment History Issue

You should not have any issues if your employer paid taxes to HMRC, but there may be an issue if your first employer had not paid any taxes for that year where your employment history is missing. So contact HMRC and find out if the issue is because of a glitch on HMRC side or has your employer not p...

Re: Bank statements query

To be safe, try and get a statement which covers a few days more. Which bank is your account with? If it is Barclays I know that they have a provision for requesting an interim statement which is just like the original one. If any other bank, then go to a branch and ask what options are available.

Re: Tier 2 to ILR appointment advice required

Hi Joe Lawrence, You mentioned about gap of 5 months in employment, does that mean that you were not paid salary during that 5 months period or were you paid less than what you were supposed to earn during that 5 months? Since you submitted 5 months of HMRC employment history, did the case worked n...

Re: Tier 2 to ILR appointment advice required

Hi guys, I have managed to get my ILR yesterday (23/06/16) on the basis of 5 years on Tier 2 General. I got mixed responses from this forum with some saying that ...

IMO you have a valid visa till 7th Aug, so you should be able to apply for ILR till 7th Aug if you did not have any previous gaps in last 10 years.

Re: Tier 2 to ILR appointment advice required

Guys, I have received my employer letter with all details like SOC code, salary, required in employment, minimum pay paid, etc. One thing that it doesn't have is the number of hours I am contracted to work (eg. 35 hours). Is that a requirement in the employer letter? I have my visa appointment day a...
