Re: Urgent advice required - PAYE Tax issue

Thanks CR001 for your prompt response. If I pay tax through the online HMRC portal, will that be sufficient? Or should I call HMRC and make them aware that I have filed a Naturalisation application and so make a note on my records that this has been paid. I am asking this as I am aware that HMRC rec...

Urgent advice required - PAYE Tax issue

Hi guys, I applied for Naturalisation a couple of weeks before and did my biometrics last Wednesday. Yesterday I got a letter from HMRC stating I paid too less tax for last financial year (2016/17). I applied for my ILR last year and got the £2375 reimbursed from my employer. HMRC have stated this a...

Re: 60+ days Employment gap - Will it affect Naturalisation?

Thanks Alterhase. I know employment is not a pre-condition but as the ILR was based on Tier 2 General visa, and the employment gap rule was valid at the time of applying ILR. Do you think it will still not be an issue?

60+ days Employment gap - Will it affect Naturalisation?

Hi guys, I received ILR on basis of 5 years on Tier 2 General visa. I had more than 60 days gap (5 months) between employment but at the time of applying ILR there were no cases of refusals due to employment gap. I can see that over the last few months there have been a lot of refusals due to more t...

Re: Tier 2 to ILR

If it is indeed 'F a k e' certificate you are talking about, why would you do that? You know you will be deported immediately out of country if deception is found.

Just wait for your time in Tier 2 route and apply the right way.

Hi CR001. The trouble is the fields of visa details of mine are mandatory and the IHS form is not letting me leave them blank.

Re: Dependant visa extension query

Thanks iworker. I have been trying to fill the IHS form and it is asking for my visa expiry date as a mandatory field, and if I enter my ILR end date it calcuates the IHS fees for my wife as £1600 which is till the end of my ILR period. I have seen some threads asking to not fill my details in IHS f...

Re: Dependant visa extension query

I am going to be applying for extension of my wife's PBS Dependant visa soon. I wanted to check if these are the only supporting docs required: 1) 3 months bank statement showing maintenance of £630 2) Letter from my employer confirming my employment and salary 3) My ILR BRP 5) My wife's passport an...

Re: 60 days GAP? 2 curtailment letters

I think you should be eligible for ILR. Apply for it and see, but don't mentions regarding the 60 day gap as it is not required.

Thanks a lot CR001. I really appreciate that you are able to answer everyone's query so quickly. Hats off to your commitment to this forum :)

Regarding the 3rd point, I seem to have mis-read the guidance given for children. So please ignore it.

Tier 2 Dependent extension queries

Hi guys, I am on ILR obtained through the Tier 2 General migrant route. I am going to be applying for extension of my wife’s Tier 2 Dependent visa so that she completes 5 years on it. I have a few questions: 1) As we are applying in country, do I still need to show maintenance fund for her (£630)? 2...

Got son's passport directly without the Citizenship letter

Hi guys. I had applied for my 3 year old son's citizenship and passport through JCAP on 11th July. I had been waiting for the Citizenship approval letter and instead I had got his passport directly :? . Is the Citizenship approval letter required for anything in future or is the Passport sufficient?...

Re: Dependant visa extension query

b) For a standard 3 years This one. On what date in 2012 did she APPLY for her PBS dep visa? Thanks CR001. She applied on 3rd Aug 2012 I think. I suppose the rules changed in July, do you know the date? Also, can she not apply for lesser duration? The reason I am asking is it will mean that we will...

Dependant visa extension query

I got ILR in June of this year through Tier 2 General route. My wife came to UK in Aug 2012 as my Tier 2 dependant. Her dependant visa will expire in May 2017 which is 2 months or so before she completes 5 years as a Tier 2 Dependant. I suppose she will have to extend the Dependant visa. My question...

Re: ILR Refused, Tier 2 G, Employment gap, AR available

I just read through your history in another post. I suppose your Tier 2 visa ended in Aug 2014 and were not sponsored till Dec 2014 which shows a clear break in visa. Although you applied for Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa during that period it may have counted only towards the 10 year Long Residence cate...

Re: ILR Refused, Tier 2 G, Employment gap, AR available

I was in similar situation but granted ILR. Did you check your immigration record through SAR?

When exactly was this gap and when did your previous employer notify UKBA?
