Re: Refusal - Urgent help

Well, I made an appeal. Let's see what happens. Do we need to notify the Home office that we have filed the appeal? Do we need to notify anyone apart from our application which we sent to the tribunal? I believe the Tribunal needs the original documents and not just the copies of the documents? Than...

Hi My Wife's ILR-Dependent application which we filed on 1st March 2016 has been refused on 7th April 2016. We got the refusal letter on 9th April 2016. Refusal reason is lack of evidence of english requirements. we are given 14 days to appeal which ends next week on 21st April. I am confused betwee...

Re: ILR Dependent rejected

Can we add more documents during the appeal process? If we didnt provide the UK Naric certificate and the application has been refused then can we add the UK Naric during the appeal? I still think the print out of the PBS calculator should had been accepted as evidence as the application was filed a...

Re: ILR Dependent rejected

But she made the application before 6th April. The application was received on 1st March by home office, it is mentioned in the refusal letter summary of timelines. Secondly, if we do the UKNARIC now, will it be accepted during appeal? I ask as it will be done AFTER the refusal decision. Are amendme...

Re: ILR Dependent rejected

If we get her degree verified by UKNaric now, will it be accepted during the appeal process? what should we put in the appeal? is the print out of PBS calculator not sufficient? does my wife need to give an english test or do we get the degree verified by UKNARIC? is she allowed to take the test now...

Re: ILR Dependent rejected

I didn't extend the tier 1 general visa as the fees were quite different and also she would need two extensions anyway before completing 5 years. She came to UK in June 2014 and would have needed two extensions before completing 5 years. The PBS indeed show 10 points for her degree and is available ...

Hi I applied for my wife's dependent visa based on my ILR visa. Earlier she was on Tier-1 dependent visa and I got ILR earlier this year so we decided to switch her to ILR-dependent and filled the FLR(M) application. Her application has been refused stating that she doesnt meet english language requ...

Re: ILR and dependent

Hi CR, thanks for your detailed replies. So if my wife switches to ILR dependent (FLR(M)) this year, she will complete her 5 years requirement for ILR in 2021. There is a rule that says Tier 1 to ILR is stopping from August 2018. I am assuming this doesnt affect her ILR as the rule is for main appli...

Re: Tier 1 (General) Dependent to ILR Dependent - Query

2. As ILR for Teir 1 General is being stopped from Apr 2018, will that impact the dependents as well? Because she will complete her 5 yrs as a PBS in Aug 2018. Does this mean that a person who has started their stay her in UK as ILR dependent after Aug 2013 will not be able to apply for ILR after c...

Re: ILR and dependent

Thanks for the reply CR001. Just a clarification, I read so many places that if I get ILR then my wife has to switch to FLR(M) as she will then become family/spouse of a person settled in UK and not the current tier 1 dependent. How can she extend her stay without switching to FLR(M). At the moment ...
