Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

What you need to show is that you have been exercising the treaty rights for 5 years. If you have been working, you need to send p60 for all those relevant years. If you have been self-sufficient , you need Comprehensive insurance. Just ensure you have been exercising the treaty for plain 5 years. ...

Re: URGENT PR APPLICATION HELP!!!

I have just realised that the p60 I have covers the period year I had ESA so do I still have to show evidence of receiving state benefits?

Student or worker qualified person

Unfortunately, as per the EEA regulations, student years only count towards PR if you held CSI or a non-UK EHIC during those years. If you did not have this, then you were not exercising treaty rights and the years do not count towards your time for PR. Were you maybe working full- or part-time dur...

Housing benefit handling of case

Hi all, I would really appreciate your thoughts as I am terribly frustrated at the handling of my housing benefit(hb) case. I am a single young lady who has applied for JSA, had to do a habitual residency test which was passed, and I have been accepted for JSA. Naturally, I applied for HB for rent s...

Re: Residency card (PR)

Oh perfect, so on number 9 did you state you came in 91 and then leave out the evidence? Or did you decide a starting point to provide evidence because I am thinking of providing from 11, secondary school age. There are gaps that I'm not sure what I was doing.

Re: Residency card (PR)

Well if that's correct, that would be fantastic as I'd have to pay for every form of evidence prior to 2010. Have you applied for this yourself?

Re: Residency card (PR)

Thank you everyone for your responses!!! I called the Home Office and they told me that I can apply for the last 5 years however for number 9 on the form I have to provide activity for the last 20 years. So obviously as I was a minor, I can only provide student letters, this should be sufficient rig...

Re: Residency card (PR)

OK so let me see if I understand. Over the time I've been in England, I pick 5 years and provide evidence of my residency through employment payslips, etc. So it's 2 pieces of proof per year correct? The application form makes it seem like it's since you've entered the UK. Does anyone know a free se...

Residency card (PR)

Hi, so I've been told I need to apply for a residence card before I apply for citizenship. I have resided in the UK for 20 years. Am I required to provide evidence since 1994 or is it for the past 5 years. I'm pretty sure it will be terribly difficult to track all my employment and ensure they get m...
