Hi vinny,

Checked ith BA and they told me letter of consent is not required as long as valid passports and visas are there.
However as I booked the flight ticket but not travelling, they suggested my wife to carry a photocopy of my bank statement of the card with which I booked the ticket.

Hi vinny,

Just now I called UK Visas & Immigration, they told me only if me and my wife ae divorced, then only she needs consent letter from me. Otherwise it's not at all required.

Hi vinny,

My wife's surname in her passport is her birth surname.
My son's surname is my surname.
In my son's passport, we got same full names of me and my wife(with her birth surname).

Do you think I need to get this letter of consent notarized ? Or just sign it and scan and send to my wife ?

Hi vinny, My wife & son are travelling with British Airways. I took the printout of the the airindia form and I can fill details and sign it giving consent for my wife to travel with my son to UK. Do I still need to get this form notarised in UK ? Or a scanned copy with my signature and passport...

My wife is travelling with my son this Friday.
So technically I got only 3 days left before her travel.
If I get my chil travel consent letter notarized, can I scan it and send it ? Ot should I send the original notarized document only?

We sent documents by courier and the documents were received at BDHC today. Hope they approve as we gave every document & photo we could since pregnancy. Hope you get your approval early next week. Seems they got lot of student visas going on since February which is why they needed some time to ...

These supporting documents they should mention on their website so that anybody who applies will be aware of it.

They gave the address to which the envelope to be sent. I thought it will be more secure if we submit through VFS. Alternative I can send it through DHL to Chennai BDHC.
