Re: Standard Visitor Visa for Parents (NHS History, need advise please)

I'm curious as to why you had travel insurance for your elderly parents for their trip to Spain, but not for their trips to the UK? Is it because you don't care that the UK taxpayers will have to pay for medical treatment for your parents? Don't you think this is wrong? The NHS is a national healthc...

Re: 7 year old nephew on visit visa refuse to go back to home country

Goodness gracious! I have seen people suspended or placed on thin ice for saying less than 'silverkey'. Having been through the Home Office myself, I am happy to say that there are people of all races and creeds that work there, and it is highly against policy to discriminate on the bases that this ...

Re: Adult dependent settlement visa rights

My understanding is that you cannot claim any of those. Normally you would had to have proven the following to be granted the visa: • the person you’ll be joining in the UK will be able to support, accommodate and care for you without claiming public funds for at least 5 years https://www.gov.uk/uk-...

Re: Visit visa- Mother

I must say that I am really surprised at the number of people bringing elderly parents over for visits for months without taking out travel insurance. I see many people caught in this situation where they now rely on the NHS to deal with them. Two points. The first point is you’re putting these elde...

This moderator will respond more than any other, 7 days a week, and most hours of the day. I think it would have benefi...

Imagine how British citizens feel that they cannot bring any family members here who are not spouse/partner or child. You wanted to come here, are lucky enough to have been given the opportunity.

Are any of these young adult children working in Belgium? If your Mother receives benefits for a disability in Belgium, why does she want to come to the UK? Where is the Father of the children?

Goodness! The people on this forum do not get paid. They are very helpful indeed when they have the answers. Your attitude is not conducive and certainly not a reason for forum members to give up their personal time to try and help you. I wish you luck in your endeavours.

So, your wife has been living in Pakistan, but returned to the UK in 2016 on a visit, and gave birth on the NHS?

Re: Overstayer for 19 years in the UK

I have read your post, and as an immigrant, I still have the opinion that because of people who do not follow the rules, regardless of reason, makes it more difficult for legitimate immigrants who do the right thing and follow the rules. That is my opinion. I will not comment further of either post,...

Re: Homeless mother coming to the UK -Help

I’m sure your mother cannot just come here without exercising her treaty rights and claim benefits of any sort. She would have 3 months to prove that she has a job, started a business (self sufficient, etc). In that time she will have to support herself, or you will have to support her. If she does ...

I am totally disgusted at the comment made below. Can Moderators please address personal comments about the Prime Minister, or other people, be they in government, or not. It is a bad reflection on this forum if this type of behavior is tolerated - no matter what anyone's personal beliefs may be. Ed...

Re: college?

Yes, of course we are, but when something is totally ridiculous, are we not permitted to comment? It is taxpayers money after all, and I am a taxpayer, when someone who has no status (illegal) wants the British taxpayer to fund their education, you're saying I am not permitted to have an opinion? I'...

One should be careful not to underestimate the British Government, especially the Tories. They had previously classified Nelson Madela as a Terrorist to further their interest, even though Mandela never lifted a Bullet at anyone. In the UK we have in our law books offense for glorification of terro...

And yes. Once you go black you never go back.
that's applying to many girls.
I am sorry, but that is such a dearly beloved comment. Quite frankly, if someone had made that statement about white men, they would have been called out.
