Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi everyone, Based on your experience and information when is the ideal time to request the passports back, after enrolling biometrics or after receiving the CoA? Can both, EEA Family member and EEA National passports be requested or just the EEA national? Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks Hi danta...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi everyone! I just posted on the timeline thread but thought I would post it here, as well. We got the residence card (and registration certificate) late last week. It was issued on a Saturday, right before the 6 month deadline (from the date that they received our applications). EEA(QP) and EEA(FM...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Congratulations!
Hopefully that means that more people start getting their cards as well now. I feel like it's been very quiet the last couple of weeks.

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi Sheeraz, I'm by no means an expert but I would guess that it's probably not possible. I think that your biological mother would have to be closer related to an EEA national (so not through the fact that your stepmother is an EEA national) and/or would have to be (financially) dependent on your st...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi again! I'm glad you reached them. I don't think they gave you the right information. In the CoA of my husband, it mentions that six months from when they received the application (as far as I remember). I guess with your case it doesn't necessarily make a very big difference (although I do unders...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi! The number for the Home Office that I have is: 0300 1232 2534. It gives you several options (after you've selected the EU/EEA route), one of which is an option for people who have applied over 6 months ago. So that is the one for you. My husband and I are at almost 5 and a half months right now,...

Re: EEA(FM) EEA2 - TIMELINES ONLY

I'm not sure this is completely accurate but this is what I have gathered: A: 01.12 -> Bio: 19.12 -> CoA: 05.01 -> RC: letter 12.05 (DanChak) A: 03.12 -> Bio: 15.12 -> CoA: 05.01 -> RC: 09.06 (soul101) A: 14.12 -> Bio:08.01 -> CoA: 19.01 -> RC: 21.06 (SE/nech) A: 14/15.12 -> Money: 17.12 -> CoA: 09/...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Dear minhabolacha, We basically received an apology and the email said that extra training had been provided to the officers. "We aim to provide a high level of customer service and on this occasion we did not meet those standards for which I apologise... Your correspondence has been provided t...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Dear minhabolacha, I'm so sorry to hear that you still have not received anything and that they've further extended their deadlines. I'm not quite sure how they determine the deadlines and what exactly the person on the phone has told you, so you can judge this situation a lot better than I can. Hav...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi! I think you can request a duplicate CoA by sending an email (with your information) to NWEUROCOARequests@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk We were told to send them an email since we are still waiting for the original CoA (see my post above) and got an automatic reply saying it is for requesting duplicate ...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi everyone, I'm just so frustrated and I have only you guys that likely best understand me. I applied EEA(FM) with my husband EEA(QP). Application received since 11 April 2016. Till this day, only one application fee was taken and we have received nothing, no email or letter. I requested my passpo...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hey everyone! We could really use your advice! My husband (Non-EEA national) and I applied at the same time (EEA QP and EEA FM). We submitted the applications in late January (the HO got it on 25 January 2016). Since then it's pretty much been a nightmare in terms of the timeline. My payment was tak...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hi there, i need a little help. I applied EEA FM MARRIED RC on 24/02/2016. I haven't received my biometric letter yet, so i was wondering what's the average days wait and receive it? And what's the bank statement when the fee taken? Is it euro £65? How will you know if your application is invalid b...

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Re: EEA2 / FM-EFM Discussion thread

Hey everyone! Just a quick question for anyone who submitted their EEA(FM) form together with their partner's EEA(QP) application (in the same envelope): When the Home Office took your payment, did they take it together or separately? We submitted our applications on the 22nd (Home Office received i...
