Thanks for the reply. Will the overstayer status further cause any issues if we do go to india and apply ? She needs to stay for 3 months at-least for the treatment In india, so hoping we can get visa within this period if not she has to wait there but the problem is our son who Is a British citizen...

I am a British passport holder my wife is switching visa to FLR M, got appointment to submit Biometrics next week. She does have current visa until Feb.

Can she travel abroad ? it’s for a treatment that is not available in UK.

Hi,

Wife applied for FLR-M on June 13th from within UK

BRP card received yesterday 15-08-2018 but no letter to say your application is successful and passport and original documents not returned before BRP.

Is this normal ?

No, she won't be able to apply for a PBS Dependent visa from outside the UK as you now hold ILR. Extending her current visa is only possible within the UK if you meet all the requirements. I have started filling the form from the link above and i filled everything and my next thing is payment.

it didn't ask for IHS fee or IHS reference number so far.. did i do something wrong ?

or i just need to pay in a IHS site and take the Form with me ?

I don't think so. I understand it must be in either of your accounts. You would need to read through the PBS Dependent guidance notes but my understanding is that 3rd party funds can't be used.
