Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Many Thanks.

What other documents are required to be taken to the Test Centre other than the BRP?

Is it just the Bank Statement as the Proof of Address and does it need to be Stamped by the Bank?

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

I have booked a test for early September as that is all I could get at Luton and it didn't show blue for any others indicating availability at any other centres. If I'd tried booking earlier I would likely have got an earlier test date, but I didn't. The current visa expires early August. Therefore...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Many Thanks afreenhaider86. And Congratulations for passing your Test. Does the application form to book the Test ask for the type of ID used? If yes, did you mention Biometric Residence Permit or just Residence Permit? Or is it a drop down with pre-populated values (e.g. Passport, BRP etc.) to sel...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Thanks afreenhaider86.

How is the availability for booking the Test now? Is it easily available or did you have to wait?

Where did you take the Test and when is your ILR due if I may ask?

Were the actual questions in the Test easy and from the mock Tests that you practiced?

Re: ILR - T2 General - LIUK Test

Thanks CULLINAN.

The LIUK website states the below -

To book your test you will need:
Your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). If you do not have a valid BRP, you can use your passport.

Does this mean that the Passport should be used only when the BRP is not valid?

Many Thanks.

Re: ILR - T2 General - LIUK Test

Thanks for your time Zimba. Apologies to be asking the same question. Re: ILR - T2 General - LIUK Test

ILR - T2 General - LIUK Test

Hi, I had recently renewed my Passport and noticed that the Government has now started including the State alongside the Town/City of Birth in the 'Place of Birth' field such that the format is "<Town/City>, <State>". My BRP for T2 General which was issued in 2016 only contains my Town/Cit...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Which Identity Document should be used by a T2 General applicant to book the Test - BRP or Passport?

Also, are Mock Online Tests sufficient to prepare and pass the LIUK Test?

Many Thanks.

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Thanks Zimba. Is there a list of all the Centers available to take the LIUK Test?

Could the Test be taken anywhere in the UK or does it only have to be the one near to where the applicant lives?

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi,

Does anyone know if there are now sufficient slots available to book the Life in the UK Test or is there still a wait of a month or so to book an appointment?

Many Thanks.

Re: ILR - T2 General

You are overthinking. It is not relevant what your medical history is. Many Thanks CR001. It would be a huge relief for a friend who has recently registered with the GP and was stressed about this. Actually, all the articles and news about the Data Sharing between NHS and the Home Office must have ...

Re: ILR - T2 General - Claim Tax Refund - HMRC

You are overthinking and being paranoid. Overpaid tax and claiming it back is NOT 'claiming public funds'. YOU have paid that to HMRC and claiming back the overpayment from YOUR payments made. Hi CR001, as discussed earlier, for a T2 Migrant, getting the HMRC Record corrected by contacting them, fo...
