Re: Please help spouse visa uk

It hasn't even been 15 working days yet - give it a week or two more I would say.

With regards documents - Yes, you can receive them back before the decision is made which was the case for me. I assume they scan and keep what they require.

Re: Self-employment tax

As self-employed I thought you get your tax bill as soon as you submit your tax return online . Is that not the process anymore? I wasn't aware that hmrc send a bill for tax due. You have to include a printout of your tax return to HMRC as well as statement of account (SA300 or SA302) - there doesn'...

Re: Spouse Visa Extension Question

Does your own salary and dividends combined reach the 18,600 threshold ?

It may be easier to use just your own information to fulfill the requirement as it would cut down on a lot of paperwork .

Re: Bank Statements (Spouse Visa) - Natwest: Help please!

The transaction list is supposedly home office approved according to Natwest - however I still called up and requested actual statements which were provided to me. I think you need to push them a little bit. The customer service advisor did say there was a cost involved (£2-3 or something) but in th...

Re: Partner VISA Refused

As far as I can recall, you need to submit all the documents which correspond to the same time frame as your last completed tax return (i.e. The CT600). This includes bank statements, wage slips, dividend vouchers etc. The documents after this time period are still required as firstly they will show...

Re: Spouse Visa extension - FLR (M)

Also with regards dividends - all you need to make sure is that you have your dividend vouchers on which the dates correspond to the business and personal bank statements in terms of when the transfers took place . This is the reason I said self assessment is irrelevant as you can show all the divid...

Re: Spouse Visa extension - FLR (M)

I understand the confusion as the application form doesn't actually have a specific part for directors of limited companies. Section 7.3C (non-employment income) does not apply to you due to the following reason as stated in the guidance: " A director of a limited company in the UK who receives...

Re: Wife visa refuse. Help needed plz

Emails would be good and you can use facebook too - I would include some phonecall records if you have any. I did not show any communication from before marriage to be honest and didn't get any problems. I just had some phone records and a few WhatsApp screenshots too like you. I sent the same marri...

Re: Financial Requirement - WHICH Category

I'm looking at the section in the financial requirement notes from p62 It states "A limited company is owned by its shareholders. Where such a shareholder is also a director employed by the company, they may be paid a salary and receive dividends, which can generally be counted, as appropriate,...

Re: Financial Requirement - WHICH Category

You don't need to include anything from self assessment in your application - your latest tax return, so the company tax return from this year is all that's required with all the relevant bank statements, wage slips etc. You would still need to provide further statements upto the application date (i...

Re: Financial Requirement - WHICH Category

Sorry I didn't realise there were differences in the forms for spouse visa and flr(m)- I was assuming the financial requirements section would still be the same.

I will have another look in a while. Have you got a link to the actual form please? If not I'll locate it online.

Re: Financial Requirement - WHICH Category

As a director of a limited company You should be looking at category F or G depending on if your using one or two years of financial information. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/525708/Appendix_FM_1_7_Financial_Requirement.pdf Check section 9 of the notes (p...

Re: Please check my financial section in attached link

Section 7.2 - the last question :

'Indicate the financial requirement you must meet here'

You need to leave that blank as you have already ticked the box for 18,600£ (no dependants).

You seem to have filled in the box for people with more than 3 dependant children- which doesn't apply to you.

Re: FLR M _ Financial year for limited company director

Well you have to have your latest CT600 anyway which covers your financial year as this is a requirement but you will have to send wage slips and bank statements upto within 28 days of if application anyway so I guess you can just make sure that your covered both ways with regards meeting threshold....

The vignette should have a date on it - my wife's had a date which started 3 weeks after she collected her passport so I am pretty sure your one is the same situation. I.e. She can travel from the 29th October as stated.

Re: Sponsor documents for spouse visa

Hi, what should be my answer for below 3.11: what is sponsors annual income , should I include dividend or should it be just salaries for each month? where should I declare dividend if I can declare in above question. Re: VAF4: Appendix 2 query

Q. 3.49 Was your sponsor self employed on the date of this application? This would be NO as you are not registered self-employed. The Q3.58/3.59 (depending if your going category F or G) however only make mention of income from self employment even though yours is technically through your limited co...

I'm sorry I got slightly confused with your question. What is the actual question on the form ? The answer I put for this was no as I was no lon...

Re: Use one income meeting financial requirement?

You need to list your wife's work pay etc. But if only relying on your salary to meet the financial requirement, you only need to submit your payslips and bank statements. Understood. Thank you. How about 6 proof of address? My understanding is that this requirement is for extension not for initial...

I didn't include my self assessment (for initial spouse visa) - just limited company documents that you have listed.
I'm assuming it's the same for the extension.
