Re: Permanent Residence Card Processing Time 2016

Hello, I am an EEA national, have been living in the UK for about 8 years. I applied for the PRC in July 2016 (almost 5 months ago) but still have not heard anything back. Application submitted: 14 July Payment Taken: 19 July Application Confirmation Email: 15 August I know this is still within 6 m...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Hi, I applied for PR on 27th of Ocrtober and I requested my passport 2 times. Does anybody know the number to contact to check why I have not received my passport yet. Best Ramona There isn't such a number really. Have you tried https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outreach/Progress_enquiry.ofml ? Stil...

Re: EEA DCPR: Is it wise to send evidence of long absence?

To give more context: I did #1 from previous post and was refused because the caseworker was not paying attention at the dates when I was absent. He refused me because I did not provide any evidence of exercising treaty rights for 6 months between X and Y - dates when I was absent (I did make this c...

Re: EEA DCPR: Is it wise to send evidence of long absence?

You cannot pretend you were in UK when you were not. Yep, I know. I think my original post was a bit confusing. Basically I have to choose between: 1. Telling them I was absent between X and Y (more than 180 days absence in one go, however they fall in separate qualifying years) and nothing else. o...

EEA DCPR: Is it wise to send evidence of long absence?

I was absent for more than 6 months, however the absence is split between two qualifying years so my application cannot be refused on the basis of breaking the residency requirement - because I did not break it. I can actually provide evidence that I was abroad: flight booking receipt, bills and let...

Hi everyone ! I'm back on this forum this time with another issue !. Please do update us about what you're doing. I may be in a similar situation very soon. Re: permanent residence absences

That is correct. Your years start in November. However 1) make it very clear on your application that you were absent. My first application was refused because the caseworker didn't understand that I was not in the UK 2) do the calculation for them and remind them of their own rules. Make it very cl...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Good Day everyone, I just wanted to share my timeline, since I have been monitoring other's for a few months. I'm an EU citizen (GRC), arrived in 2006 for studies, which were completed by 2012. Immediately got employed until present by a single employer. Changed 4 addresses in total. I had comprehe...

Re: EEA (PR) - anyone else waiting 4 weeks or more for passp

You can't do anything to speed up the process. It took 3 months in my first application. I made numerous requests to return my document. Numerous follow up requests. Numerous calls. I got my MP involved. I made an official complaint. And they did nothing. I received my document along with the decisi...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

We are traveling to USA so if I apply for a new passport, I need to apply for another visa! I think I will fill in the form again online. This is very frustrating. I didn't suggest getting a new passport, but a temporary travel document. Some countries will issue them in exceptional circumstances, ...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Congrats everyone! Also am I the only one who has the impression that they started to speed things up a bit? Confirmation emails no longer take 1 month to receive, but more like < 3 weeks. Also we have some cases above that took significantly less than 4 months, which I think was the average of appl...

Re: Return of ID documents more than 10 days

After 2 months I got my MP involved. Even with his "intervention" it still took an extra month for them to send me the ID. So around 60 working days in total.

It's a very rare case, but it does happen.

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

My application took 5 months, but only because they sort of forgot or didn't bother to send the outcome to me. It was refused in June, but I only received it in August. So you may be in a similar situation. There isn't much you can do other than wait for the 6-month deadline and THEN contact them. ...

Does anybody from EU who applied before 20 June still have an outstanding application? My application took 5 months, but only because they ...

Re: Additional documents to Case Worker for PR- Help pls

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can send extra evidence at this point. I don't remember where I read this, but make sure you read all their guidance and documentation to see if that's the case. Whether they will be satisfied with what you sent depends on the caseworker, however from my experie...

Re: EEA PR application - when can I apply?

If you are applying on the basis of exercising treaty rights between 12/09/2011 - 12/09/2016 (which was 4 days ago), make sure you have evidence dated on or after 12/09/2016. For example if your latest payslip is from, for example, 30/08/2016, if I were you I would wait until I get the payslip on 30...
