Re: Check the status of your application online - New servic

Hi All, I have received an approval letter on 29/06 with a letter date of 21/06. On the letter, It is mentioned that you should not contact Local council and you will receive an invitation of ceremony shortly. Its 30/6 and I have not received any invitation letter yet, I was wondering it looks like...

Applied on 17/03 (which was a Friday). Simple application of 5 years Tier 2 General + 1 year ILR. Online status still on awaiting a decision since 25/05 like most of you. Curious to know why HO is suddenly having delays for us March applicants. Any one have any clues? Can you please post your full ...

Re: Should I be worried!??

Mr_Columbus when did you apply exactly and when did you enroll biometrics? Might be nice of you to post your timeline in the March thread . I don't think you should be worried at this time. Just because your application was decided on 31/05 does not mean it was sent out the very same day... Maybe it...

Re: Going abroad after applying - HO checks done

Hi everyone, I applied in the middle of March (EU citizen) and was hoping to have it all done by end of June, but based on the wait and the info posted here it seems this might not happen. I was planning on quitting my job so that I can spend summer months abroad, and then return end of September a...

Re: JCAP Applied average processing time

Well can you not work it out by looking at the timelines? I think these days it will be easily more than 2 1/2 or 3 months after biometrics. Maybe more for people who applied in March or later. Edit: And still it's no guarantee you will wait the same time as others. Some users waited for well...

Did you read the requirements booklet? https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... y_2017.pdf

To me, your wife's absences are excessive and I think she is facing an incredibly difficult battle.

Your approval is probably on its way. You can also call the council and explain the situation and try to rearrange.

Off topic, but can you please post your timeline (perhaps in the appropriate timeline thread)?

Re: NCS appointments in London: Only available in 6 weeks!

Probably a huge proportion of them are EU nationals. Something similar happened to DCPR applications last year, when there were so many applicants that decision times tripled in many cases (from 6 weeks to 4 months or more). Many of them are now applying for BC. If you look at January/February timel...

Re: NCS appointment gone TOO well?

So I prepared loads of docs to foolproof my application, included a cover letter to explain my situation (some missing payslips etc) but the lady at the NCS didn't want to know and just took the key docs such as life in the UK, my degree certificate, passport, employer letters and said it will all ...

My question is if I need to provide this list for the full 5+1 year period or just mention the trips from the last year and in the cover letter ask them to refer to my DCPR application for the 5-year period. Past 5 years. Do you have a good reason for not wanting to write all your absences in the A...

Re: Permanent Residence status and AN form.

You may have acquired the right of permanent residence before 01/2017, but obviously you need to demonstrate it, which you haven't. If I were you I would "reapply" for a PR, giving them documents covering an earlier period and writing a cover letter that explains the situation. Other membe...

Re: Help EEA Italian Citizen, 177 days absent the past 12 mo

Unless you are prepared to lose your application fee, I suggest that you wait until you have no more than 90 days of absence in the 12 month period prior to applying. At present you are almost double the permitted absence. But what I'm trying to hold on to is the fact that I have not exceeded the 1...
