Re: Does my company needs to get Unrestricted COS now?

Remind your employer to apply for COS allocation for next year (april 2017-april 2018), once the window for such requests open.. Employers generally get emails in Feb. @iworker thanks.. I checked with my company, and they said that the current licence ends in 05 may 2018. So they don't need to appl...

Re: questiosn regarding Tier 2 extension

you need unrestricted cos. Your visa says restricted for other reasons.. not cos of your cos. you can extend your visa till may 2019 (6 years from first grant) licence extension has nothing to do with your visa however, the employer must maintain the licence for the entire duration that they want t...

Re: Reagrding going on leave for a month, Tier 2 General

Well I suppose in that case its not unpaid leave anyway, is it? Its just working from home, which several people do. I have a friend who was employed by a company in Norwich on Tier 2 general but would "work-from-home" from Edinburgh where he moved after his wife got a job there. I guess ...

the OP is not going to be absent. He/she is going to be on leave. there is a difference between two. Re: Reagrding going on leave for a month, Tier 2 General

You mean the UKVI? Well I suppose you could come to an arrangement with your company with this. If you say you will work the equivalent of 5 extra days, they can just report on the SMS that you were away for however long you're going for minus those 5 days. I'm just thinking out loud here, that's w...

Re: Reagrding going on leave for a month, Tier 2 General

Well 4 weeks is 28 days, so maybe you can reduce the number of days you're going away for by a couple of days? Or maybe make up the time for the extra days by working some extra hours before you leave or after you return? Thanks for the quick reply Shruti. This may sound silly, but how will they kn...

Re: Planning to bring dependant on Tier 2 VISA

You don't have to. Surely you have other photos of you together apart from the court ceremony? I've already said that it's just an important to submit evidence of how you keep in contact after the wedding. As a matter of interest, why are you intending to wait for a year after the court ceremony be...
