Re: Dependent ILR if break of 2 years after completion of 5 years

Given the current situation and that I work as a senior executive in the airline industry, I am not very sure if will be lucky enough to get a job within 3 months. I do have a company registered in UK which is currently dormant however and one I plan to restart with a start-up. So in the UK exclusiv...

Re: Dependent ILR if break of 2 years after completion of 5 years

Thanks again. 6.2.4 states - if the application is granted can be combined with the applicant’s partner’s overseas employment income to meet that part of the financial requirement. So should I provide proof of income in Dubai and rental income proof from UK? Either of them will satisfy the required ...

Re: Dependent ILR if break of 2 years after completion of 5 years

Thanks for your detailed response. So to add to the complications, I am currently in Dubai, UAE working with Emirates airlines. Wife (Indian passport) and son (British passport) travelled to India and have been stuck there since March. They are going to allow residents to return to UAE from India fo...

Something I was not informed about anywhere in the process; website, online exit permit application or when I physically submitted the application. Anyo...

Re: Settle as partner of work visa-holder who has settled in

No she was not on a PBS dependent visa. Her first visa to the UK was on the UK visa for family settlement: form VAF4A. Applied in May 2013 and arrived in UK in August 2013.
Her current visa expires in May 2016.

Re: Settle as partner of work visa-holder who has settled in

Many thanks for your quick response. I have always believed the 5 year rule is what applies for wife's settlement. However reading through all options on the gov.uk website is what is confusing me. More so the settle in UK link. Why if it is settlement through 'Tier 1,2 or 5' ONLY does it state: Eli...
