Thousands of people in Pakistan - including BBC staff - have been hit by delays in receiving UK visas, with many having to wait up to six weeks.

The UK Border Agency has not commented on claims that this is due to visas now being processed in the Middle East.

Hi IRfan, you can explain the error during the interview. I had a similar issue and the ECO asked my wife whether there were any errors on the form and my wife explained the error. To which they responded, 'Thank you'.

Hi Irfan, you can request a new P60 from here. Contact the inland revneue and ask for a copy of your P60. You will have to pay around £20 per copy!

Thanks again Ronin. She was expecting to be interviewed anyway given that she has visited the UK on a Visiting Visa only to be refused entry once [She was pregnant and was asked to return using a medical Visa]

Hi Roninxxx, the interview is in Karachi. From my understanding the interview process will also include a process to obtain biometric data. From what I have read interviews are generally confirmed via post but according to the phone call the visa dept wanted to confirm the address and interview slot...
